It’s Week 13, Autumn has set in, the quilts have come out and there is a slight chill in the morning air, which means Comfort Food is needed! I love cooking at this time of year, meal times seem cozy and the meals are easier to prepare in advance giving me more time with the kids after school. Roasts, casseroles, pies and curries….Yum. Oh, and did I mention the desserts? I have already indulged in a few spur-of-the-moment desserts that I will be posting about later in the week. Guess I will be spending some extra time on the treadmill this winter.
Monday 26th March – Sunday 1st April 2012
Monday – Ragu Alla Bolognese with Garlic Bread
Tuesday – Crumbed Chicken with Baked Potatoes, Corn on the Cobb, Carrots and Broccoli
Wednesday – Kansas City Sue’s Chicken (Slow cooker) with brown rice and stir-fried vegetables
Thursday – Steak and Vegetable Kebabs, rice and tossed green salad
Friday – Pollo Asado
Saturday – Beef Bourguignon served over pasta
Sunday – Chicken with Mustard Cream Sauce, baby potatoes, beans and carrots
