Ingredients:
1 Loaf of Bread
1 Packet 100’s & 1000’s
Soft Butter to spread
Musk sticks cut to
Butterfly Biscuit Cutter
Directions:
Butter each slice of bread.
Take your biscuit cutter and cut out one butterfly from each slice of bread.
Place your 100’s & 1000’s on a plate or bowl with a flat base.
Dip each butterfly into the 100’s & 1000’s butter-side-down.
Lay your butterfly on a flat plate/tray.
Take a musk stick and measure it on a butterfly to get the length you want for the body and cut to size.
Place cut musk stick down the centre of the butterfly to make the body.
Repeat with remaining butterflies.
Notes: If you are lucky enough, you may find a pack of mini musk sticks, which I found to be the perfect size for the butterfly’s body.
I have used various biscuit cutters for our parties, making cars, trains and buses for the boys.
If you choose to make Flowers for the girls you can cut a small piece of musk stick to place in the centre of the flower.
