{"id":1982,"date":"2012-08-18T11:02:11","date_gmt":"2012-08-18T01:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/?page_id=1982"},"modified":"2012-08-18T11:02:11","modified_gmt":"2012-08-18T01:02:11","slug":"apple-slice","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/plate4eight.com\/?page_id=1982","title":{"rendered":"Apple Slice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC098851.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1739\" title=\"Apple Slice 1\" src=\"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC098851-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 Cup Plain Flour<\/p>\n<p>1 Self-Raising Flour<\/p>\n<p>155g Butter<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 Cup Sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 Egg, lightly beaten<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp Vanilla Essence<\/p>\n<p>1 x 800g tin Pie Apples, or 4-5 large apples, cooked<\/p>\n<p>Cinnamon (optional)<\/p>\n<p>30g Melted Butter, extra<\/p>\n<p>1 Tbl Sugar, extra<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 180C.<\/p>\n<p>Line two 20cm x 30cm baking tins with baking paper<\/p>\n<p>Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.<\/p>\n<p>Add vanilla and egg, and continue to beat.<\/p>\n<p>Using a metal spoon, fold in sifted flours (add a little milk if too dry).<\/p>\n<p>Divide dough in \u00a0half, wrap in platic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Press or roll the dough into the tins.
