{"id":1988,"date":"2012-08-18T11:57:18","date_gmt":"2012-08-18T01:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/?page_id=1988"},"modified":"2012-08-18T11:57:18","modified_gmt":"2012-08-18T01:57:18","slug":"chocolate-mousse-cake","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/plate4eight.com\/?page_id=1988","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate Mousse Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC09971.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1802\" title=\"Chocolate Mousse Cake\" src=\"http:\/\/plate4eight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC09971-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>500g dark chocolate (I only had 400g, and it still worked perfectly, so you decide)<\/p>\n<p>2 tbs golden syrup<\/p>\n<p>125g unsalted butter<\/p>\n<p>4 eggs<\/p>\n<p>1 tbs caster sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 tbs plain flour, sifted<\/p>\n<p>Melted chocolate, to decorate if you feel like getting fancy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Preheat oven to 220\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Grease and line the base of a 20cm round spring-form cake pan with non-stick baking paper.<\/p>\n<p>Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water.
